Marvel fans baffled by our new Iron Man

Okay, but we have some questions

A new Iron Man on the scene shouldn’t be this confusing, yet Marvel fans have been left scratching their heads.

Before you get confused further, this new Iron Man has nothing to do with the MCU. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Instead, it’s a new Fortnite skin.

Iron Man has featured in Fortnite before, however, this skin is a new customisable one purportedly on the way.

You can opt for the classic red and gold aesthetic, or you can embrace Robert Downey Jr’s new role as Doctor Doom and go for a “Doom style” outfit.

A video showcasing the new skin was shared by @blortzen on X.

The leaker also revealed that the new skin will come with a backbling, though they didn’t specify what.

Here’s the thing though, the video doesn’t show off the customisation options because the skin is encrypted.

What is more, the so-called alterations between this skin and previous ones seem to be minimal at best. At least going off of some of the responses thus far.

“Isn't it the exact same we got a few seasons ago?” questioned @SoldierBaguette.

Even though they realised soon after that there are notable differences between this upcoming skin and the MK45, the fact that it took a while for them to realise this speaks volumes.

User @Rylet_ quipped, “Yup that’s Iron Man.”

Can you feel how underwhelmed they are? We sure can.

While we're on the topic of Marvel, have you seen The Fantastic Four: First Steps trailer? It's amazing

Others question the legitimacy of this video, saying, “Nah this is not real no way.”

“Why’d you put the texture on the MK45 skin? This is not a leak, just making shit up,” argued @nssnjdnf97590.

In short, there’s a lot here to be baffled by.

As of yet, the official Fortnite channel remains quiet about this update. Consequently, let’s all remain cautious about its quote-unquote “upcoming arrival”.

Fans are definitely interested in a new skin, however, they want to see something a lot more varied than the one teased here if it’s going to hailed a success.
