Who’s ready for some fresh Marvel content on this fine Tuesday morning? Well, you’re in luck, as the first official trailer for the Disney+ series Moon Knight just dropped, and it’s looking seriously exciting.

It’s given us a tantalising glimpse into what to expect from the six-part series, including our first look at Oscar Isaac (Dune, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker) in the lead role, in what I think we can all agree seems to be the perfect casting. Take a look for yourself below.

In case you were sat there wondering what the hell a Moon Knight is, here’s the official synopsis from Marvel: “The series follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.”

As you’d imagine, fans have been taking to the YouTube comments to share their excitement: “I think Oscar Isaac is gonna be the perfect actor for this role. The acting looks amazing and the music behind is hypnotising, ‘embrace the chaos’, this line gave me chills. This is going to be [another] Marvel […] blockbuster!” commented ridhima khetan. “PLEASE don't be afraid to push mature themes in this! I seriously dig what I am seeing here and hope that they're not afraid to make it mature to the right extent!” wrote FroBoy696Productions.

As well as Oscar Isaac, the series also stars Ethan Hawke (Stockholm) and May Calamawy (Ramy), and will be directed by Mohamed Diab (Cairo 678), as well as the directing pair Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Resolution). Moon Knight is set to air exclusively on Disney+ on 30 March, so there’s not too long to wait now.
