With projects coming from left, right and center it is hard to believe that Marvel has yet another one in the works. Not only that but it is for a crossover we never even knew we needed.

According to a recent announcement by Marvel, the publisher revealed that it would be combining the incredible Marvel Comics with our favourite kaiju, Godzilla and the collaboration will be arriving this September.

See Godzilla in action in the teaser trailer below!

Godzilla has had something of a revival in the past few years with its most recent movie, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, breaking box-office records in March.

It seems that despite being on screen for decades, fans are far from tired of Godzilla which means a collaboration between them and Marvel Comics is bound to make a splash later this year.

According to Marvel Comics, Godzilla will be starring in a number of volumes - 21 to be precise. To celebrate the upcoming release, the publishers have released a few covers and we can see our favourite heroes such as Deadpool, Captain America and the whole Avengers squad attempt to fight the foreboding kaiju.

As of now, fifteen of the Godzilla Variant Covers have been released and are depicted on Marvel Comic volumes such as: AVENGERS #18, MILES MORALES: SPIDER-MAN #24, VENOM #37 and SCARLET WITCH #4 to name a few.

If comics aren’t your thing then Marvel has plenty of film projects in the works including Avengers 5 and Avengers: Secret Wars. The films are set to hit cinemas in 2026 and 2027 respectively and could see much-loved faces make a return to the MCU.

Not only that but fans of the original animated show Spider-Man can relive their childhoods after the lead writer teased it would be making a return in a recently unearthed Tweet.

It is definitely an exciting time for MCU fans.
