When you think of underrated Marvel characters, or characters that rarely get a chance to shine, you might think of characters like She-Hulk, Sentry or even Namor.

While the Marvel Cinematic Universe has done a good job so far of bringing lesser-known heroes into the mainstream media, there are still loads of characters in dire need of a spotlight.

Fortunately, Marvel Rivals is going to feature quite a few heroes who are yet to get the respect they deserve, and it launches next month.

It’s not Marvel Rivals we’re talking about today though, it’s Fortnite. The multiplayer battle-royale with surprisingly cursed lore is about to enter a new season at the end of this week with a new map, battlepass and more skins to unlock.

Featuring alongside original characters, the mighty Godzilla will join the fray, as well as a Marvel character we haven’t seen in ages, Baymax from Big Hero Six.

I bet many will have forgotten Big Hero Six is technically a Marvel film, as it was a collaborative effort between the IP and Disney that saw the soft and squishy Baymax become an enhanced superhero.

The teaser for the new Fortnite season featured Baymax flying in the background, and is the latest character from a Disney film to join the game.

Whether other Big Hero Six characters are also set to enter the battle is yet to be seen, but collaborations like this usually include one or two characters to choose from. It’s also unknown if there will be any mythic weapons to go with the skin.

Also featured in the new season is a Godzilla boss fight, as the nuclear-powered lizard will be roaming the map looking for a fight but will also be unlockable as a skin as well.

The new season of Fortnite will land on all platforms at the end of the week, on 1 December, and could be one of the biggest seasons yet.
