Everyone loves Keanu Reeves. The breathtaking Canadian actor, known for his roles in The Matrix and John Wick series, is more than just an iconic figure on screen - he’s all in all just a really nice guy. He and Brendan Fraser probably stand as two of the most-liked movie stars out there right now - there’s a reason why people are so excited for John Wick: Chapter 4 (beyond, y’know, the fact that it’s a new John Wick movie).

Anyway, given his popularity, it’s understandable that fans would be excited to see Reeves join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is a possibility that’s suddenly sounding a whole lot more real.

Set to premiere in early 2023 is Marvel's new Disney+ series, Secret Invasion - check out the trailer below.

As reported by The Independent, in a recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jimmy Kimmel asked Reeves what roles he’d been offered by Marvel, a question which, for obvious reasons, he couldn’t answer. However, his answer did reveal that he’d clearly be very interested in joining the MCU: “You know what’s really cool, I mean I think, you know, the way that the Marvel films have developed and what they are is really, you know, spectacular, and it would be great to be a part of that.”

Kimmel then asked Reeves which Marvel character, as a 10-year-old, he’d want to play the most, and he had a pretty great answer: “I think he’d probably wanna be Ghost Rider.”

Ghost Rider has made a few appearances on screen over the years - Nicolas Cage, of course, took on the role of Johnny Blaze in Ghost Rider and its sequel, Spirit of Vengeance. Then, a bit more recently, Ghost Rider appeared as Robbie Reyes in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (portrayed by Gabriel Luna). That doesn’t mean that Reeves is out of the question, though - surely within the Marvel multiverse, there’s a place for him somewhere.
