The development of photorealistic graphics has reached dizzying heights thanks to the release of Unreal Engine 5. The engine was recently used to create a train station that looked so realistic that most people assumed it was real world footage. That’s how powerful Unreal Engine 5 can be.

Creators have been using Unreal Engine 5 to envision their dream games and the results have been a delight. There does seem to be a common theme though, as creators use the engine to live out their superhero fantasies. Both Spider-Man and Superman have graced Unreal Engine 5 with their presence and next to receive the photorealistic treatment is Iron Man.

Speaking of Unreal Engine 5, take a look at this unbelievable GTA: San Andreas UE5 fan remake trailer which puts Rockstar to shame. It's that good.

The Iron Man Unreal Engine 5 alpha gameplay has been made by developer Aaron Morse and the best news is that the working demo is now available to download for free for all PC users. The ultra realistic demo shows Iron Man walking around a city before he lifts into the air and starts flying across the city’s rooftops.

The flying animations are incredibly smooth and this might just be the closest we ever get to feeling like one of the original Avengers.

Talking about the project, Morse said, “This is just a demo put together by myself for fun due to my love for Iron Man. The city sample is a very heavy project and even using the recommended specs, you may experience significant framerate drops and some crashing. I believe this is due to the speed of the flight and the streaming of the level being unable to keep up moving at such high speeds. I have included scalability settings so hopefully everyone can give it a try even if you do not have the recommended specs.”

Speaking of those specs, Morse recommends a 12-Core CPU @ 3.4 GHz, 64 GB RAM, a GeForce RTX 2080 or AMD Radeon 6000 graphics card, and at least 8GB of VRAM. If you tick those boxes, go and live out your Iron Man dreams.
