Hogwarts Legacy’s Voldemort is just as cursed as you’d totally expect.

Hogwarts Legacy’s Voldemort is just as cursed as you’d totally expect.

Hogwarts Legacy is considered to be one of the best video games to release this year. It’s also one of the more commercially successful games to not only outperform the lifetime sales of Elden Ring in just five weeks, but it has also made more money than most Harry Potter movies.

Set in the late 1800s, long before the likes of Harry Potter and even Fantastic Beasts, Hogwarts Legacy is not only a standalone story, but it offers a prequel to the original novels and movies.

What’s more, with Hogwarts Legacy being set before both of the above, it was decades before Voldemort (formerly known as Tom Marvolo Riddle) was born. So it stands to reason that “he who must not be named” does not feature in the action RPG developed by Avalanche Software. Well, at least officially, anyway.

A talented modder by the name of DEGOmods has created which is essentially a Voldemort skin that you can choose during the character creation process before you begin your adventure in Hogwarts Legacy.

“This mod adds Voldemort's head, which you can choose for your character.

And replaces the hand's texture,” reads the description on Nexusmods.”Note: affects multiple skin colours. The face is animated, and uses standard animations.” The mod is available to download now for free.

In related news, the developers at Avalanche Software recently held a Hogwarts Legacy livestream and announced that they are giving away free DLC. What’s more, players have recently been marvelling at the game's stunning beauty on PCs running on Ultra Plus settings.

Hogwarts Legacy is out now for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It was supposed to have been released on Nintendo Switch by now, but after suffering multiplayer delays, patient fans will have to wait a little longer to explore Hogwarts on the go.
