A very dedicated Hogwarts Legacy fan has put together every known easter egg from the books as well as the movies.

Now, before we proceed, please be advised, the list of easter eggs does have spoilers for Hogwarts Legacy. Sadly, not of the chocolate easter egg variety, I think? However, to be fair, if you’re familiar with the books and movies, you won't be too surprised by the potential spoilers.
Did you know you can find a Polyjuice potion brewing in a toilet stall, just like the set up Hermione used in Chamber of Secrets? The Transfiguration icon is actually an image of Scabbers as a nod to the scene where Ron's pet rat is half-turned into a goblet. Ever wondered why the wayfinder spell is a trail of butterflies? Do you remember what Ron said when they had to follow the spiders? I bet you get it now. There's also a snake symbol on a certain bathroom sink marking the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets. Set during the late 1800s, in Hogwarts Legacy, you play as an upcoming student during their fifth year at the school. It is said that the player holds the key to an “ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart”. So, no pressure then. However, while destiny may be set in stone, how the player chooses to fulfil that destiny, well, that is entirely up to you.
Speaking of references to the books and movies, Hogwarts Legacy fans have discovered something very curious about the spot where Dumbledore died. What’s more, an eagle-eyed player believes that they may have discovered a Basilisk, the deadly resident of the Chamber of Secrets.
However, in somewhat unexpected news, despite the controversy surrounding J.K Rowling's hurtful comments towards the trans community, Hogwarts Legacy has become way more popular than the epic FromSoftware RPG Elden Ring.
Hogwarts Legacy is out now for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It will then release for PS4 and Xbox One on 4 April 2023, and then for Nintendo Switch on 25 July.
