What if we could blend the worlds of Hogwarts Legacy and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag? If you thought that such a delight never existed, then we have some good news.

Sure, Hogwarts Legacy and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag are both open-world games. However, while Hogwarts Legacy leans more into the RPG genre, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is more about exploration. Though it's fair to say that in their way, each has fun combat and supernatural elements.

The game in question that meets Hogwarts Legacy and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is none other than Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn developed by indie studio A44 Games and published by Kepler Interactive, the very same publisher that gave us the grotesque first-person horror game, Scorn.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is an action RPG that is arriving on PC Steam and consoles in 2024. In this action RPG you play as a character named Nor Vanek, said to be an elite member of the Coalition army, and is accompanied by a mythical fox-like creature called Enki.

“Join humanity’s last stand as Gods and guns collide in an all-new action-RPG open-world adventure,” reads the official description of the game. “The Door to the Great Below has been opened, unleashing the Gods and their armies of the Dead. The lands of Kian are besieged; it’s time for the Coalition army to fight back. Embrace vengeance, gunpowder and magic and embark on an epic journey to defeat the Gods, retake the world, and close the Door.”

At this time, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn does not have a set release date, but we do know that it will be released sometime in 2024 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. You can, however, add Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn to your Steam wishlist right now.
