Who wouldn't love to punch Nazis in the face? We know one man that loves such a pastime, and that’s Indiana Jones.

The fifth movie in the iconic action-adventure franchise starring Harrison Ford and directed by Steven Spielberg is nearly upon us with Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

Set in 1936, prior to World War II, the first movie in the franchise, Raiders of the Lost Ark arrived all the way back in 1981. Since that time the charismatic archaeologist has been charming fans with his raiding of tombs, humorous wit, and punching Nazis in the face.

There’s a good reason why the Indiana Jones movie franchise continues to adore fans for decades as it’s a series that offers escapism like no other. However, perhaps the last said about the fourth entry, Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls, the better.

Harrison Ford sat down with Yahoo to discuss the upcoming movie and when asked if Indiana Jones would be okay with people punching Nazis like he does, he replied: “He’d push ‘em out of the way to get in the first punch. As well he should.”

So there you have it, not only does Indiana Jones enjoy punching Nazis in the face, but he also encourages others to do the same. We can’t really argue with that.

In related news, back in January 2021, it was announced that Bethesda will be publishing an Indiana Jones game. What’s more, with Bethesda now being owned by Microsoft, it means that this game will be an Xbox first-party title.

Coincidentally, the Indiana Jones game is being developed by MachineGames, the studio responsible for the most recent Wolfenstein series. This just so happens to be a game about killing Nazis, so no doubt this new Indy title is in good hands.

Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny will be released in cinemas this month on 30 June 2023.
