Grand Theft Auto VI launches next year so while you wait, why not take a trip to the old Vice City, while it’s easier than ever.
Like how Grand Theft Auto V reimagined the map from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto VI will reimagine the map from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
Despite being one of the earlier 3D Grand Theft Auto games GTA: Vice City still holds up and I’d argue the OG version looks leagues better than the “definitive” edition that launched decades later.
If you’ve played it before and fancy a replay or have never touched the game and fancy giving it a go before GTA VI this one is for you, as you can now play the game in-browser.

The geniuses responsible for this are The Dos Zone team, which has had its worked shared to the various Grand Theft Auto subreddits.
You can now play the game without having to download it, and it’s not a watered down version either; all features are present.
It’s reported to have a very fast start-up, supports all kinds of video resolutions, and you can either play it with a controller if you have one hooked up to your laptop/PC.
supports all screen resolution.
The only caveat is you can’t play through the entire story mode. A note from the port’s developers remarks: “The game is given as a limited demo. You can travel and enjoy the gameplay as much as you want but upon going to the 1st story checkpoint (Hotel Ocean View), you're required to upload an original game file to continue.”

That’s not bad if you just want to roam around the map and get into trouble. Think of it as a recce for GTA VI. You’re taking a look around and noting the different locations to see how they’ll look in the next Rockstar game.
Enhanced GTA: Vice City
If you’d rather play the full game though you can also boot up the Definitive Edition that was released for consoles and PC.
However the better option would be running this gorgeous overhaul mod that we reported on a few days ago instead.
You won’t just be playing the full game, you’ll be playing it with enhanced visuals, faster load times and much, much more.
We can’t wait to re-explore Vice City when GTA VI launches next year, assuming it’s not delayed again of course.
