GTA fans looking for a hearty dose of open world nonsense might want to check out this new free game, though be aware you don't have long to grab it.

As I'm sure you're aware, GTA VI was finally shown off earlier this year. But given the next Grand Theft Auto isn't realistically going to be with us until mid 2025, you might as well get stuck into a new-gen open-world experience that kind of offers a similar vibe.

Check it out below!

Okay, so the latest Saints Row isn't exactly the most beloved open-world game out there (it has a 3.1 user score on Metacritic), but for the low price of nothing it all it's definitely worth a shot. This is a dumb, fun open-world game that asks you to switch your brain off and enjoy the fireworks.

Saints Row is the latest free game on offer via the Epic Games Store. To claim it, you need an Epic Games account and a PC that can run the game. Heck, even if you don't currently have decent enough hardware, you can claim the game now and then it's in your library for a rainy day.

I think it's fair to say GAMINGbible liked Saints Row more than most when it launched back in 2022. In our 7/10 review we hailed it as a "very good game," adding: "It’s got highs and lows, with some flaws hopefully set to be patched out by its release date. While it may not blow players away, it’s an enjoyable open-world title with lots to do. Side characters are charming, there are plenty of funny moments, and it’s a perfect game for simply messing around in."

A 7/10 game to download and play for free? You quite literally have nothing to lose, so go check it out.
