We’ve already talked about how The GTA Trilogy Remaster has been pulled from PC. Rockstar Games has temporarily removed the game from purchase and play because there were files left in the game that they didn’t want players to access. At first, we reported that these files were likely music that is now unlicenced and notes that the Rockstar team left in the game for development purposes. However, it now seems there are reported of Hot Coffee still left in the game too.
As reported by VGC, there are players claiming to have found Hot Coffee files within The GTA Trilogy - The Definitive Edition. There are a few screenshots from Twitter accounts showing code relating to the mini-game but it’s not clear if these are faked, especially as Rockstar would have been particularly careful not to include this content.

Hot Coffee, if you’re unaware, was an inaccessible part of San Andreas where the character could go to a girlfriend’s house and have ‘coffee’. The original game did not contain graphic content but a Hot Coffee mod expanded on the mini-game allowing the player to actively participate in sex with the girlfriend.

Hot Coffee caused a lot of problems for Rockstar and parent company Take-Two, culminating in a class-action lawsuit settlement of over $20 million. This was due to accusations that the company had not properly disclosed the adult content in the game.
Screenshots of code that have appeared online seem to indicate that some of the code from the original mini-game is still within The Definitive Edition. Of course, it’s inaccessible as is, but it might be another detail that Rockstar is currently trying to remove following the launch of the game.
