GTA 6 can wait, we're getting a surprise free open world game

We're kinda busy, actually

As much as we want to play GTA VI, all this waiting around is getting frustrating. In truth, it’s been annoying for several months now.

Consequently, we’re on the lookout for any other experiences that can distract us.

Right on cue, an open world adventure is just around the corner, filled with just as many kooky shenanigans as GTA. Some would argue more so.

Launching on 12 December, we’ll be getting LEGO Fortnite Brick Life.

“Make new friends, explore the sights, land your dream job, and move into your new home in LEGO Fortnite Brick Life,” reads its YouTube description.

It's the brick life for us in LEGO Fortnite Brick Life

As you’ll have likely already guessed if you’re a Fortnite player, this is a new game mode.

Its introduction has gamers marvelling at just how versatile the title is.

“It really is the everything game isn't it,” remarked Twitter user @imgoingtoduck after seeing the announcement.

No one can deny that the game has come a long way since its 2017 launch. Cliche though it may be to say, there’s something for everyone in the Epic Games creation.

Another user, this time @DailyFocus101, said, “I've always enjoyed LEGO games and combining that with Fortnite sounds like a fun twist. I'll have to mark my calendar for 12 December to give it a try.”

The one comment that speaks volumes though, in our humble opinion, is the one that jokes that LEGO GTA launched before GTA VI.

It perfectly summarises the community’s love/hate relationship with the upcoming Rockstar experience.

But maybe we should be angry at ourselves and not the publisher, as suggested by one developer that claims the second trailer delay is our fault.

Whether it’s a case of self sabotage or Rockstar dragging its heels, it matters little; the result is still the same.

We’re impatient and in need of entertainment.

Come 12 Dec, we might still be secretly counting down the days until GTA VI, but we’ll be less bored.
