The days are ticking down until that big X we all have marked on our calendars arrives on November 19.
But before that special day when the world stops and millions of people walk through the gates to Vice City, we are still faced with the strange conundrum that we haven't seen a second of Grand Theft Auto gameplay.
It's an odd phenomenon that is a testament to the series' brand building over the years, but millions of gamers have already pre-ordered a game without knowing what is actually on offer aside from a brief introduction to protagonists Jason and Lucia.
As to when we'll get to see gameplay footage, it likely lies with the elusive third trailer, which continues to be pushed back.

But that wait might finally be coming to a close as GTA VI fans believe that August 7 is a very important day in the lead-up to this gigantic game's release.
With each of the two previous trailers releasing some incredible Easter eggs inside as fans try to peel back the layers and understand just what we can expect to be spending $100 on, attention has long been subverted towards trailer three.
Aside from some screenshots of the main characters in their various bundled get-ups, the final pre-release offering will undoubtedly be the first real look at gameplay footage and offer a bit more into the psychology of the Lucia-Jason relationship complex.
And, many fans have been holding back their pre-orders until seeing it, just to make triple sure that we're onto the banger that we've been promised.
With that, fans originally thought it incomprehensible that the pre-orders would have gone live without it, marking June 23 as the release date for the trailer.
But now that time has been and gone, the search for another date has come to a conclusion, as fans have now identified August 7 as the trailer three viewing day.

It comes as Take-Two Interactive has made some big changes to its quarterly sales report schedule, planned for the same day.
Usually, the earnings reports are released alongside in-depth Q&A sessions after the market closes at 4PM ET.
But this time, Take-Two has opted to hold it at 8AM ET, just 90 minutes before the market opens.
We can only imagine that this is to capitalise on the immediate hype of a big announcement, such as trailer three. A successful trailer would continue to help Take-Two's stock soar.
"They have VERY good news for investors," one fan said on a now-deleted Reddit thread.
"I don't remember Take Two making a call before the markets open, it was always after the market closing in the evening, which means they must have spectacular news."
Others pointed out that there could be room for another two trailers - one cinematic, one gameplay - with the third movie-style preview coming in July and the in-game captures arriving on August 7.
"Trailer 3 for both GTA 5 and RDR2 were released two weeks before [Q2] T2 investors' call. This August call will be the [Q2] before GTA 6 launches," a second fan said.
A third person added, "Skip trailer 3 this time go straight to gameplay trailer."

Others have continued the trend of the GTA arrival fiasco being 'boring', claiming that the trailer three wait has been too long for them to care.
"I don't even wanna know, man. Even if trailer 3 released on this day, the fact we went one year and three months without it when this comes is depressing enough," a fourth added.
Previously, Take-Two said that its limited marketing for GTA 6 will start in the summer, really kickstarting the countdown to November 19.
However, it would be very Rockstar to just shadow drop the trailer at any random time, just to watch the world implode around it.
As to the exact details of what we can expect, we are unsure, but there will no doubt be some historic references to Vice City's past, popular Miami culture, and GTA lore.
