A new GTA VI leak suggests we're going on an unexpected journey into the past, and it's one that gives off Red Dead Redemption 2 western vibes.
There’s no denying that Rockstar Games' next entry in its ever-popular Grand Theft Auto series is one of the most highly anticipated video games of all time. As a result, the upcoming GTA VI is often a topic of hot conversation across social media, especially when it concerns reported leaks.
As reported by ComicBook, the latest GTA VI leak regards a newly revealed song that will feature in the game. Albeit, it seems like this is somewhat of an unofficial reveal.
The leak in question was revealed on Facebook, courtesy of country music singer and songwriter Bobby Keel, who co–wrote the song 'Need a Little Time Off for Bad Behaviour', released in 1985 by Hank Williams Jr, on the album Five-O.

“Our Song, ‘Need a Little Time Off for Bad Behaviour,’ will be featured in the video game Grand Theft Auto VI for release on November 19, 2026,” wrote Keel on Facebook. “This is BIG TIME HUGE.”
Those who are familiar with the Grand Theft Auto series, especially from 2001’s GTA III, will know that one of the most popular aspects of the series is its radio stations. Initially, many of the songs featured on the radio stations in Grand Theft Auto were original crafted tracks for that particular game.

However, in 2002’s GTA: Vice City (which just so happens to be a location of GTA VI), radio stations featured a plethora of real-life artists, including Michael Jackson's 'Billie Jean', Hall & Oates' 'Out of Touch', Toto's 'Africa', and many more.
As with previous games in the series, 'Need a Little Time Off for Bad Behaviour' will likely feature on a specific radio station in GTA VI, such as one that is dedicated to country music.
It is, however, interesting that a 1980s track has been picked given the original GTA: Vice City is set in the mid 80s. It would be awesome if GTA VI featured a couple of flashbacks to that era and prior game.
Not at the time of writing. That being said, if GTA V is anything to go by, the full GTA VI tracklist will hopefully be revealed in the weeks leading up to the game's launch.
As of right now, assuming it suffers no further delay, GTA VI will be released on 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. We’ll keep you posted as soon as Rockstar Games officially announces the inevitable PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI.
