GTA VI's release date has just been massively narrowed down in a new report, and it looks like it could be coming even sooner than we expected.

GTA VI was finally officially shown to the world at the end of last year, and the hype is real. Players are already planning

sick days’ ahead of the game's launch, and some players are even using satellite maps to piece together what GTA VI’s will look like.

Take a look at GTA VI in action below!

As if that wasn't enough, another fan has tracked down the trailer’s strip club in real life. With all the leaks flying around, it certainly won't be long until Rockstar shows off even more of the long-awaited game.

We already know that GTA VI is expected to release in 2025, of course, but a new report has massively narrowed down exactly when we can expect to book in those sick days and lose ourselves in Vice City.

According to GTAVI_Countdown on Twitter, Rockstar parent company Take-Two confirmed in a financial report that it expects to bring in an eye-watering $8 billion in revenue for the fiscal year 2025, which ends 31 March.

While Take-Two has plenty of big releases planned, many agree that such a staggering number can only mean one thing: GTA VI. Given the game is already smashing records, it's fair to say Take-Two is expecting massive things from the upcoming Grand Theft Auto, and $8 billion in revenue is certainly reflective of that. The upshot of this means we can likely expect GTA VI to land between January and March 2025, which means GTA VI could very well now be less than a year away.

That's still a bit of wait, of course, and there's every chance the game could get pushed back - but we're now dangerously close to GTA VI finally releasing. And how exciting is that?
