A brand new leak for Grand Theft Auto VI’s online mode has upset a lot of fans, mostly because it sounds like Rockstar Games might be making some big changes to how Grand Theft Auto V’s online lobbies work.

Hey, do you hate spawning into a lobby full of 31 other people in GTA Online, who are intent on hurling random slurs down the mic and shooting your brand new supercar for absolutely zero reason?

Well, what if I told you GTA VI Online might have three times the amount of people in one lobby?

This info comes from well-known Grand Theft Auto leaker Fravilys, via a new post on Medium. They state that the new GTA Online mode will support up to 96 players, alongside a focus on free mode activities you can engage in with random folks in lobbies.

Over in a post detailing the news on Twitter from user GTA 6 Countdown, fans don’t seem too thrilled by the idea of getting hunted down by 95 12-year-olds in one lobby.

“Bro that’s too many people in one lobby imagine if everyone has their mic turned on?” commented user @DiscoBearYeahh. “The lobbies are gonna sound like a Warzone pre game lobby.”

“Cross platform lobbies when PC modders get their hands on the game…” replied user @TheGreatZhuchka.

Of course, the real question is, how legitimate is this leak?

Personally, I’d say it’s complete rubbish.

I did a little digging into Fravilys, and while they’re certainly prolific… I can’t say that any of their purported “leaks” have actually come to pass.

Also, they simply state in their article that their information just comes from an “insider”. Look, I know you gotta keep your sources a secret but, I’m not buying it. It’s all a bit too vague for me.

That being said, bigger lobbies in GTA VI Online does sound very plausible. Just don’t come back here stating that this leaker was accurate the whole time for “leaking” something that sound incredibly obvious in the first place.
