The Grand Theft Auto VI community strikes again, because this time they’ve managed to uncover a genuine piece of the upcoming game’s map.
Grand Theft Auto VI has been subject to quite a few leaks over the past couple of years. Some of them were directly stolen from Rockstar Games, whereas others were merely leaks that were eventually proven to be true.
Today’s example is a bit of a funny one though, because it’s not technically a leak… instead, it’s just a piece of info that Rockstar Games willingly offered up (albeit it in a somewhat obfuscated manner).
Over on the r/GTA6 subreddit, user NoDevelopment894 has pieced together (as in, literally pieced parts of it together) a section of GTA VI's map from an official source: a promotional piece of artwork released by Rockstar Games.

You can see the artwork featuring Brian Heder for yourself over on Rockstar Games’ official site… or, y’know, you could just look at the thumbnail in this article instead.
Anyway, the point is that the map was intentionally blocked off by Brian Heder’s hand, and it’s also displayed at a weird angle, so it’s sort of difficult to see what’s actually going on in the image.
So, now that we can get a proper look at the map’s contents, we can figure out that it displays… uhh… yeah, I’ve got nothing.
The folks in the comments are a little perplexed too, as there’s not really any way to verify which section of Leonida this features. If I were to wager a guess, I’d say it looks like it could be swampland (something which Florida, which Leonida is based on, is well known for).

Not much to go off for the time being, but hey– it’s something at least. Besides, I think the r/GTA6 community isn’t finished putting two and two together quite yet.
Give them a day or two, and I reckon we’ll get even more info outta this.
