There are many things about Grand Theft Auto VI that we do not yet know despite us being just a few months away from its launch.
Despite the next instalment in the Grand Theft Auto saga set to be the most anticipated game of all time, Rockstar Games is still keeping things close to its chest which is unsurprising considering the amount of leaks, rumours, and gossip.
As a result, we remain in the dark about quite a few features of the game ranging from its radio stations to its addition of shrinking horse balls(?).
However, one such feature that fans are desperate to hear more about is Grand Theft Auto VI’s map as many believe we have only received a teaser of what the full one could look like.

So far, Rockstar has given us just a glimpse of some of the areas and points of interest that will be found within the new-and-improved Vice City and surrounding areas.
We know that we will be able to visit Mount Kalaga National Park, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, Key West and more, and map designers have even drawn up a version of what the map could look like.
However, according to rooohhan over on r/GTA6, Rockstar is still holding a lot back.
So much so that they believe we have only seen just 10% of the final map.

“The first image is speculation of how many things Rockstar is still hiding and the second image is 100% confirmed locations with no speculations,” they shared alongside two screenshots.
“Although this may be a stretch, to think we only know so little yet is quite mind blowing.”
As mentioned, the screenshots show that Rockstar has indeed only shown us a snippet of the rumoured map size whereas the fan-made map features some other teased locations such as South Gloriana to the north and Lucayas islands to the south.
Of course, this is a fan-made mockup but it is interesting to see how big GTA VI’s map will actually be, especially with the next entry set to be bigger and better than any game that has come before it.

“Just a couple of more months and we’ll have it all,” user Webos3321 reminded us.
Another user agreed, adding, “I’m honestly thankful there hasn’t been a real leak of the full map. We’ve come too far to have a rotten spoiler now. I’m happy with waiting till release. I’ve seen enough. I’m sold.”
Grand Theft Auto VI is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on 26 May 2026.
