GTA 6 fans left disappointed by second trailer 'update'

We’re all desperately awaiting Grand Theft Auto VI’s next reveal.

Whether that’s a new trailer or simply an array of screenshots doesn’t really matter.

Just a crumb of an update from Rockstar Games would help tide us over until the game’s marketing ramps up in 2025 ahead of its fall release.

It’s been eight long months since GTA VI’s very first trailer dropped, with nothing else released since.

Of course, Rockstar won’t want the game’s marketing to peak too soon but then again, eight months is a long time to go without dropping anything at all.

That’s why fans are full of theories as to when we might be getting our next sneaky peak.

Many thought a second trailer might drop last week seeing as it coincided with Take Two Interactive's latest earnings call.

Parent company of Rockstar Games, previous announcements both for GTA VI and titles like Red Dead Redemption 2 have preceded or followed a Take Two earnings call.

Alas, nothing happened.

Of course though, this is the Grand Theft Auto fandom we’re talking about. A new tidbit has already surfaced.

You may as well watch GTA VI’s trailer one more time.

I’m afraid we’re back to teases from so-called insiders. Oh it’s like reliving 2023 all over again.

Twitter user billsyliamgta has gained prominence online for his latest claim: “The same source as last year, when I hinted at Rockstar Games releasing the first trailer for VI has told me they’re prepping another one.”

“And community members ‘in the know’ have told something similar,” they added.

Is there truth to this or is it a simple attempt to chase clout?

The GTA VI fandom is leaning towards the latter.

“Wait, you’re telling me Rockstar is going to release another trailer for their new upcoming title GTA VI? Tell me more,” said a sarcastic AdPast7181.

“Literally saying nothing lol, obviously they have that s**t in the works,” added MeatballEddie.

I’d buckle up, my friends. We’ve got a long wait ahead, and I’m sure that wait will be filled with plenty of ‘inside’ claims.

Whether there’s any truth to these claims, we don’t know so do take all teases with an enormous mountain of salt.
