Those excited for Grand Theft Auto VI’s release have already begun planning what excuses they need to tell their bosses so they can take some time off work, following some new info regarding when the game might drop.
Grand Theft Auto VI genuinely might be the most anticipated video game in history at this point, which makes me think the world is going to go to hell in a handbasket following the first two weeks it drops.
Rockstar Games is still being tight-lipped regarding when exactly it will release, but some new info is painting a more accurate picture of its release window.

Probably the most telling piece of info we have at the moment is Borderlands 4’s release date being pushed forward by two weeks, from 23 September to 12 September this year, implying that publisher Take-Two doesn’t want the game to clash with the release of GTA VI.
GTA VI still doesn't have a second trailer.
Said info has caused everyone over on the r/GTA6 subreddit to start scheduling their days of work way ahead of time.

“I have been saving 60 days worth of vacation for the past two years and I also have about 12 off days (72 days in total) and I could save up even more days,” commented user Chemical-Guest. “The only thing I'm missing is the release date so I can dip out.”
“Exactly! I've got two weeks of paid time off saved up and ready to go exactly when the release date and pre-order goes live,” replied user Andrej_T05. “I'm thinking one week should be enough, but I'll splurge both... maybe.”
Jeez, the whole world is going to come to a crawl if everyone takes two weeks off at the same time.
I hope every company in the world is ready to schedule half of their employees off during the same time period…
