GTA 6 alleged release date and map leaked by Rockstar 'office cleaner'

Office cleaner at Rockstar Games claims to have GTA 6 insider knowledge

You’d think by now that the Grand Theft Auto VI leaks and rumours would slow down after Rockstar Games released its highly anticipated debut trailer not so long ago, but we’d be wrong if we ever thought that.

Following a series of unfortunate gameplay leaks that were taken from an early build of the game, Rockstar Games finally released the first official trailer for GTA VI and it did not disappoint. At this point, I feel obsessed with finding out the latest numbers, but the GTA VI trailer currently has over 148 million views since its upload to YouTube on 4 December 2023.

Check out the GTA VI trailer below!

However, Grand Theft Auto VI is not the only piece of news to arrive recently, because Netflix subscribers can claim GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas for free. Happy days! That being said, going back to GTA VI, Reddit user Rockstarlames claims to have worked as a cleaner at Rockstar Games and says that they not only saw its huge map, but the game will be released in September 2025.

Before we proceed, it’s worth taking these claims with a massive pinch of salt as it very much sounds like a case of someone’s uncle who owns a dog who had taken their pet into the Rockstar Games office on a bring-your-child-to-work day. What’s more, it does not take a rocket scientist to assume that GTA VI might be released in September 2025. After all, we all know that it will be released that year (assuming it suffers no delays) as well as the fact that GTA V was originally released in September 2013. The cleaner claims to have seen an advert with the GTA VI logo and release date.

The alleged cleaner also claims to have seen the massive map in a Rockstar Games office located in London. Again, we know that GTA VI will be massive in terms of map size because especially since 2001 with the release of GTA III, the series has often offered the largest maps of its respective generation. Furthermore, it’s also been rumoured that GTA VI will not only feature the confirmed Vice City but may also take us to other Central and South American regions.

To be honest, all the above information could be predicted by an inflatable goat that flips burgers at Cluckin' Bell. What we do know for sure is that Grand Theft Auto VI will be released in 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
