Christmas is coming to Los Santos as Grand Theft Auto Online welcomes its festive event which arrives later today.
It may have been just days since Rockstar released the Safehouse in the Hills DLC for Grand Theft Auto Online but brand-new content is on the way once more.
Adding the ability for players to purchase their very own mansions, meet GTA V’s Michael De Santa, and even get their own pet, the Safehouse in the Hills has been a success… especially thanks to the Angel AI.
However, it is time to celebrate the Christmas period and what better way to do that than by welcoming back The Gooch?

Yes, you read that correctly.
Grand Theft Auto Online will be hosting a three-week event which goes live today, 18 December.
Not only that but Los Santos and surrounding areas will soon be covered in white as snow will be added from 23 to the 29 December.
Whilst you have snowball fights with friends, you can also look forward to some brand-new vehicles to add to your ever-growing collection, including the Vapid FMJ MK V and Progen Luiva.
The event will also showcase some free content: your very own helicopter as players logging in during this time can get their hands on the Buckingham SuperVolito Carbon at absolutely no cost.
However, we all know that it is The Gooch that you are really here for.
A Winter Wonderland Awaits

Fear not, The Gooch will return to GTA Online alongside Yeti Hunt, Weazel Plaza Shootout, eCola Happy Holidays Hauler and festive modes such as Snowball Fights and Entourage.
Fans returning to GTA Online for the Christmas period will recognise these fun-filled events but fear not, there will also be some exclusive rewards for logging in during this period.
They include: Season’s Greetings Sweater, New Year Fireworks Bodysuit, Snowball Launcher, Candy Cane, Firework Launcher with 20 Firework Rockets, and a refill of Snacks, Armour, and Ammo.
The Christmas event in Grand Theft Auto Online is full to the brim with reasons to log in with everything from bonuses to lucky wheel spins, discounts to weekly challenges and so if you want to see all of the upcoming content, check out this Twitter post by user videotechuk_.
With this possibly being the last Christmas that we spend with Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online as we know it, it would be the perfect time to log in and join the festivities before a brand-new iteration is unveiled next year with the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI.
