Ghost Of Tsushima fans call it the most 'beautiful' game ever

Ghost Of Tsushima fans call it the most 'beautiful' game ever

It's pretty stunning, to be fair

Look, I'm not someone who would necessarily say graphics are the thing that can make or break a video game... but it certainly doesn't hurt when a game is easy on the eye, does it?

Red Dead Redemption 2, The Last Of Us Part II, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - these would all be brilliant video games even if they looked like dogshit. The fact they don't is just the icing on the cake.

While I don't really know what I think the most beautiful game of all time is, many players over on the PlayStation subreddit seem to have agreed that Sucker Punch's 2020 classic Ghost Of Tsushima takes the win.

I'll admit it took me a while to be won over by Ghost Of Tsushima (I still think it falls victim to dull side quests and bland open world checklist nonsense), but I would never deny that it's a stunner of a game.

"Probably the most beautiful game I've played," one fan wrote alongside a screenshot of the game's admittedly breathtaking opening sequence.

"Played this at launch on PS4," another fan added. "Truly brilliant to the point where I look for the PS5 upgrade in the sale. I'd merrily do it again."

A third user wrote: "I played this on my brand new OLED TV and fancy pants sound system. It made me feel like a kid going to a movie for the first time again. Everything from the visuals, the environmental sounds, etc. blew me away."

While some comments remark that the game can be a little boring (again, that's up for debate), literally nobody is arguing that Ghost Of Tsushima is anything less than drop-dead gorgeous. I can't even begin to imagine what Ghost Of Tsushima 2 will look like on PS5 when that finally launches.
