Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - arguably the best Star Wars game in recent years - is currently free to download and keep alongside a mountain of genuinely cracking video games.
Respawn Entertainment's 2019 Jedi adventure blends Metroidvania-style exploration across a series of stunning alien vistas with surprisingly punishing combat. I don't want to say it's the Dark Souls of Star Wars games, but... well. I'll just think it instead.
PC gamers with an Amazon Prime subscription can now get their hands on Jedi: Fallen Order for free, as part of Amazon's Prime Gaming January 2022 lineup. The caveat here is that you need to be a Prime customer, obviously.
But even if you're not, do you not have at least one family member with a Prime membership you can pinch just to download and claim this excellent Star Wars game?
And if Star Wars isn't your thing, there are plenty of other freebies to sink your teeth into this month. Jedi: Fallen Order is joined by Total War: Warhammer, World War Z: Aftermath, Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered, WRC 7 FIA World Rally Championship, Abandon Ship, Paper Beat, In Other Waters, and Two Point Hospital. There are some real bangers in there that you'd do well to check out.
If you're interested, you can head right here to claim your free games. Just remember they're only available till the end of the month, so act fast before they're gone! Or, you know, just play Jedi: Fallen Order on Xbox Game Pass. I have no horse in this race.
