Singaporean Twitch streamer Kiaraakitty has responded to recent allegations that she was involved in the scamming of several men as part of a money-making scheme.
The 18-year-old streamer has an impressive number of fans on Twitch, with over 214,000 followers on the platform, although it's been a rough 2021 so far for her with two temporary bans already. Earlier this week a recorded phone call was leaked online containing what the anonymous uploader - alleged to be one of the streamer's ex mods recording in secret - claimed was a confession from Kiaraakitty in regards to her involvement with a troubling series of scams.
In the leaked audio, a woman admits to conning several lonely and vulnerable men, including at least one with a disability. You can hear the clip for yourself below.

"I know guys when they're lonely, and when they don't have a good family situation, they are very vulnerable, so I just know what kind of people to target," the woman says. "I'll ask them how's life and let them open up, and when they open up, that's when I know that I can take something from them."
The woman in the recording discusses having scammed seven men, one of whom gave her his life savings of more than S$30,000 after she claimed to have a growth in her kidney.
Kiaraakitty has outright denied that the woman in the leaked audio is her, and argued her case in a recent Instagram story.

"Hi everyone, I heard some rumors about me," she wrote in a post on June 5 (thanks, Dexerto). "Just to let you all know is false and staged. Is so ridiculous that I made a police report and currently waiting for the police before I can let you all know what happens. Thank you so much for all your support and love to me."
Kiaraakitty has yet to provide an update on the situation.
