Frontier Developments has announced a sequel to its hit dinosaur management sim. Jurassic World Evolution 2 was revealed last night during the Summer Game Fest by none other than Jeff Goldblum himself. The new instalment will release later this year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Jurassic World Evolution first hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A Switch port followed a few years later in 2020. The first game launched around the same time as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hit the big screen, and the new game seems to be releasing just in time for the upcoming Jurassic World: Dominion.
Anyway, take a look at the reveal trailer below. I think it's the law that Jeff Goldblum be the one to announce these games, to be honest.

Goldblum will once again reprise his role as Ian Malcolm from the films, playing the role of narrator and guide as you attempt to prove that it's actually very easy to build a park full of dinosaurs without killing anyone.
As in the first game, you'll spend most of your time building the ultimate dinosaur park. Create viewing areas, look after guests, and even breed new creatures while ensuring those same creatures don't break free of their bonds and murder everyone. Expect plenty more content for the sequel, including the addition of marine reptiles. Seems like they've really... scaled up for this one. Sorry.
