Jade Raymond, after leaving Google Stadia weeks ago, has announced her next move in the gaming industry - to produce a new PlayStation exclusive with a brand new PlayStation studio she's leading. Following Stadia's announced that it would be outsourcing development on further projects - having never even released a game of its own - Raymond has moved onto greener pastures with Sony, as CEO of Haven.

You might not know Jade Raymond's name but it's likely you know her work. She's got several massive game franchises under her belt - helping each one create incredible titles. Perhaps most notably, she was a producer on the original Assassin's Creed and executive producer on Assassin's Creed II, the original Watch Dogs, Far Cry 4 and a general manager working on Star Wars: Battlefront 2.

Now, Raymond is the CEO and founder of Haven Entertainment Studios - heading up the new Sony studio that will be creating more games for PlayStation. In a blog post announcing both the new studio and Raymond's move to comfortably sitting with Sony after Stadia's mess, she reiterates her love of games. "Several people have asked me recently: "After all of these experiences, do you still want to be in the games industry?" The answer is always an unwavering YES! The games industry is where I belong!"

She goes on to reminisce about the industry in which she feels like she connects with people the most, and how there is no bigger delight to her than working on new creative projects and IPs. So obviously, it seems, the next step is to make a new studio working on an entirely new IP as she envisions it.

"Together, we want to create games that are a haven for players, and we want to build a studio that is a haven for developers. So, while we don't have many details to announce today, I want the PlayStation community to know that Haven Studios is already hard at work on an unannounced IP. We can't wait to show you more!"

Well we can't wait to hear more about a new PlayStation exclusive - so far many of PlayStation's exclusive library has been excellent, from God of War to Demon Souls, so we have high hopes for Raymond's next project.
