A Call Of Duty dataminer has uncovered evidence that planes could be coming to Call Of Duty: Warzone as part of the incoming Season 4 Reloaded updated. A new controller setting also appears to back up the arrival of this new vehicle type.

Season 4 Reloaded arrives on July 15, bringing with it weapon balancing, a new Sentry Gun, and an explosive new 20v20 game mode by the name of Payload.

Take a look at some of the funniest Warzone wins and fails below!

As spotted by the wonderfully named ZestyCODLeaks on Twitter, a script file for the Payload includes "PLANE spawns for both teams in-game", although they note this could simply be for AI planes.

Another Call of Duty leaker by the name CallofDutyHope believes that planes are coming to Warzone, but that it won't be as part of tomorrow's update. They claim the planes are probably being tested as part of the battle royale's rumoured WWII makeover, and that they're accidentally in the files for Season 4 Reloaded.

Reports suggest that Warzone will receive a major WWII overhaul to tie the battle royale in with the in-development Call Of Duty: Vanguard, bringing in a new map as well as new vehicles and an increased player count. If Raven was going to deploy a new vehicle class like planes, it would absolutely more more sense to drop it as part of the Vanguard update.

Either way, it seems there's a strong chance developer Raven Software is introducing dogfighting to Warzone eventually - and that's an incredibly exciting prospect for those who are getting a little tired of the same handful of vehicles. Watch this space.
