Just finished watching HBO's The Last Of Us? Already desperate for a second season of misery? Want more time with Joel and Ellie? We may have just the thing for you.

As I'm sure you probably know, HBO's critically acclaimed series is based on Naughty Dog's equally acclaimed video game of the same name. Of course, HBO's The Last Of Us has proven so popular that there are scores of viewers out there who have never experienced the original video game for themselves. That could be about to change.

Now TV (where The Last Of Us has been streaming here in the UK) is currently emailing select subscribers to let them know about a new competition. The prize? A copy of The Last Of Us Part 1 and a brand-new PlayStation 5. Phwoar.

At the time of writing only one of the GAMINGbible team with a subscription to Now has received an invitation to enter the draw. The terms and conditions make it clear you need to already have a subscription, live in the UK, and be over 18. If you meet those criteria and receive an email, all you need to do is follow the prompt to enter and be in with a chance. Easy.

In other The Last Of Us news, the series' showrunners recently confirmed that season two will feature a lot more infected - something many feel was missing from the first series.

"We generally stressed the power of relationships and trying to find significance within moments of action and so there may be less action than some people wanted because we couldn’t necessarily find significance for quite a bit of it, or [there was] a concern that it would be repetitive," showrunner Craig Mazin said of the relative lack of action compared to the game.

"There is more The Last of Us to come. It’s quite possible that there will be a lot more infected later - and perhaps different kinds.”
