PlayStation Plus Drops Rare Free Icon Pack For EA Sports FC 2026, How To Claim

PlayStation Plus has dropped a huge free Icon Pack for EA Sports FC 26 that you can claim right now.
Last month, Sony announced the latest inclusions coming to PlayStation Plus Essential for May 2026, and those games have dropped today, available to download now. One of those games is EA Sports FC 26, and to celebrate, you can claim a rare Icon Pack for free.
Anyone who plays EA Sports FC 26 and the FIFA series before that will know that Icons in the Ultimate Team mode are a huge part of the game. If you’re lucky, you can unpack legends such as Ronaldo (R9), Diego Maradona, Zinedine Zidane, and many more.
If you’re not fortunate enough to unpack an Icon in EA Sports FC 26, a single high-end player alone can cost you millions of in-game coins. For example, a ‘Trophy Titans’ Ruud Gullit currently costs around 7 million coins.
If you subscribe to any tier of PlayStation Plus, you can claim a free ‘PlayStation Plus’ Icon Pack right now. This pack can be claimed in the ‘PlayStation Plus Exclusive Packs’ section of the PS Store via your console, the website or mobile app.

You can unpack an Icon or Hero card up to a 91-rated overall from all previous campaigns, other than Team of the Year, Team of the Year Honourable Mentions and Classic XI Heroes.
There will be three of five Icon or Hero Picks each for Defenders (including goalkeepers), Midfielders, and Attackers. What’s more, you’ll also receive a ‘Gold XI Pack’ with one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders and three attackers, all rated 84 or higher. It’s worth mentioning that all cards in these packs cannot be traded.
Just in case you’re wondering, out of the cards available from my free ‘PlayStation Plus Icon Pack’, I chose a 91 Oliver Kahn, a 87 Frank Rijkaard and a 91 Marco Van Basten - just to give you some idea of the possible line-up you can get.
Yes, it’s only available for a limited time. The free ‘PlayStation Plus Icons Pack’ will be available until 16 June 2026. So it might be worth claiming it today, just in case you forget.
It’s also worth mentioning that EA Sports FC 26 is cross-play, so if your Electronic Arts account is linked across PC, PlayStation and Xbox, this pack will be available across the board.
EA Sports FC 26 is out on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles.
