Weâre in the midst of a single-player drought when it comes to Fallout.
The multiplayer realm is suffering no such thing though.
Fallout 76 welcomed several chunky updates last year, including the âSkyline Valleyâ and âGleaming Depthsâ expansions.
Itâll welcome its next update on 18 March, and itâs one thatâll finally grant us the opportunity to play as a ghoul.

It was during last yearâs Xbox Showcase that Bethesda first teased the ghoul update, with âGhoul Withinâ now officially on the way.
And best of all, it coincides with the upcoming Season 20 âGlow of the Ghoulâ. Double ghoul whammy.
Both events go live on the aforementioned 18 March; âGhoul Withinâ will assumedly grant you so much more than the ability to simply play as a ghoul.
That being said, Bethesda is playing its cards close to its chest for now.
The update teases to bring âall the Vault-dweller ghouls to the Wastelandâ.
As for Season 20, itâll introduce new C.A.M.P rewards, including the âUnfortunate Endâ nuclear waste tank, âMini Nuke Steinâ, and âGoo-Tubâ - plus you can don the new âYellow Vault-Tec Hazmat Suitâ and âSharpshooter Power Armour Paintâ.
And yes, if it was in doubt, Iâve been giggling at the name Goo-Tub.
You can take a look at the new trailer for âGlow of the Ghoulâ below.
âGlow of the Ghoul is all about the Ghouls. This theme is for the mutated, the irradiated, the glowing and the feral of the wasteland,â the seasonâs synopsis reads.
âEven if youâre not going the way of the ghoul, be sure to decorate your C.A.M.P. in the most radiation-ridden and dilapidated way to make all your ghoulfriends feel at home. Toxic waste looks good in any C.A.M.P.â
Of course, the next couple of months will also bring us plenty of the usual events, including the likes of Caps-a-plenty, Scrip Surplus, and Double Mutations.
Bethesda additionally confirmed that the gameâs next update beyond âGhoul Withinâ will land in June alongside Season 21.
All in all, thereâs plenty to look forward to.
