Fallout fans everywhere rejoice; Bethesda just dropped a shiny new trailer for an expansion we've all been waiting for.
During Xbox's summer game showcase, Bethesda treated us to a new look at the free Gone Fission update for Fallout 76.
If you're scratching your heads wondering why Bethesda has dropped a new trailer for an expansion that's been out since 3 June, you're not alone. It's an odd move. Still, it looks plenty fun.

In Gone Fission, players are invited to "experience the cozier side of Appalachia with a net-full of new fishing adventures."
There's Different bait to use, weather conditions, fishing rods, and locations that spawn new fish types. There are common fish, one of the 12 prized Axolotls that rotate each month, and Local Legends.

The update has gone down pretty well with fans so far, too.
"I happened to reinstall the night before Gone Fission kicked off, and I’ve been hooked (lol) ever since," writes one Reddit user. "I’m really enjoying the new fishing mechanic, and I’ve just made my way into Skyline Valley, following the questline and having a great time exploring everything."
It's certainly not the biggest update Fallout 76 has ever gotten, but I think we can all agree an RPG that includes fishing is automatically better, so hopefully this is a sign of what we can expect when Fallout 5 arrives.
