Bethesda has an exciting announcement on the horizon and fans are praying that it will not just be another Fallout 76 content update.
Earlier this week saw Bethesda announce that it would be celebrating Fallout Day 2025 later this month on 23 October.
The event would see fans receive exclusive news on “existing Fallout games, community celebrations, and upcoming fan events” alongside a Fallout For Hope post-show which will go live immediately after.
The announcement was made over on the official Fallout Instagram page and other than revealing a date, time and platforms to watch on, there was no other information which has got fans feeling quite concerned.

That is because Fallout fans are hoping that this annual event will not just be another excuse to reveal more Fallout 76 content but will instead reveal some news on the upcoming Fallout 5 or maybe even that potential Fallout 3 remaster.
With the docket consisting of news on "existing Fallout games”, we can expect the event to feature at least some Fallout 76 news considering that Fallout 4 wrapped up development quite some time ago.
We can also assume that the brand-new Fallout season will be mentioned ahead of its air date this December but other than that, we remain in the dark.
At the time of writing, Fallout 5 is still in development at Bethesda but updates have been pretty scarce, leaving some fans to believe that we may not see it for quite some years.

Additionally, a Fallout 3 remaster was first leaked alongside The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered in the Microsoft and FTC’s legal documents but once again, we have not received any further information or even an official confirmation.
Back in April 2025, insider NateTheHate claimed that the Fallout 3 Remaster was still in the works but it would be a “while” before it would be released.
So, it seems as though we have to wait until 23 October to receive more concrete information about what we can expect next from Bethesda but it seems as though fans are already feeling the hype.
“Enough with 76,” one Instagram user shared, “We need another single player Fallout experience!”

Another agreed, adding, “Fallout 5 or a remaster announcement please bro. We are begging you.”
Although VGC’s Jordan Middler revealed that there are multiple Fallout entries in the pipeline, including “one you’re all wanting”, let us hope that Fallout Day 2025 gives fans exactly what they want.
Fallout Day 2025 takes place on 23 October at 10am PST, 1pm EST, 6pm BST.
