Fallout fans have a lot to look forward to over the next couple of years.
The second season of the highly successful Fallout television show is expected to air this December, Fallout 76 is getting regular updates with new and exciting content and Fallout 5 is in development at Bethesda (despite it sometimes feeling like it isn’t).
To put it simply, being a fan of the post-apocalyptic RPG series has never been better and it seems as though a recent social media post is building the hype once more.
Even if we have no idea what it actually means.

Shared on the falloutforhope Instagram account but also shared on the official Fallout page, we can see a very cryptic video consisting of a series of code which we would find in-game in various terminals.
Flashing the Fallout logo, we can see a whole lot of nonsensical code being typed but most importantly, we get a glimpse of the iconic Pip-Boy mascot and even an ETA.
Posted 17 hours ago at the time of writing, the ETA which flashes on screen reads: 24, hours, 0 min, 0 sec so this is correct, we can expect Bethesda to make a Fallout-related announcement in just a few hours.

As to what the announcement could consist of is anybody’s guess but as you can imagine, that has not stopped fans from putting forward their own suggestions and hopes.
“NEW VEGAS REMASTER INCOMING!!!!” One Instagram user shared.

(Just assuming due to season 2 of the show coming out soon and revolving around NV)”.
Another had different ideas when they said, “This is the Fallout 3 remaster, I know it.”
However, the announcement is most likely dedicated to some upcoming Fallout 76 content with Bethesda regularly releasing patches for its multiplayer RPG.
With the team working hard on Fallout 5, it is unlikely that it will have put time aside for a major remaster, unless, of course, it has worked alongside other studios to make it happen.
