Fallout fans surprised by new 2025 release with a hefty price tag

This is cool but pricey

Fallout fans will want to get a look at this brand new release set to arrive in 2025 but you better get saving those bottle caps right now.

When it comes to post-apocalyptic series’ few do it better than Fallout. Originally released in 1997 on PC, the series arguably evolved for the better with Bethesda’s first release in 2008 with Fallout 3.

ICYMI: Check out our chat with the cast of the Fallout show!

Don’t get me wrong, Bethesda hasn’t always gotten it right with the Fallout series with almost every new release plagued with bugs at launch. Thankfully, at least for the most part, those bugs are quickly ironed out and players can enjoy adventures in the deadly wastelands only to be killed by raiders and giant cockroaches.

Outside of the Fallout video game series, fans have also been enjoying the critically acclaimed live-action series from Amazon and of course, fans love to claim all the merch related to the popular Bethesda RPG as humanly possible.

If you’re one of those fans who loves to hoard all the Fallout merch, then this action figure could be your cup of tea. The action figure in question is the ‘Fallout Male Sole Survivor’ and it's set to be released in 2025.

The ‘sole survivor’ ⅙ scale action figure is from FigZero and it stands 12 inches (30.9cm) tall and has 32 points of articulation. It also comes with various accessories including a Pip-Boy, the Big Boy weapon, a Charisma Vault Boy Bobblehead and more.

In the US, the action figure has an RRP of $180 but is far more pricey in the UK selling for around £270. One UK retailer has a pre-order deadline of 16 October 2024, so I assume that the increased price could be due to importing fees from the US.

I would also guess that if you imported this action figure from the US, the overall cost with shipping and tax fees could work out to be a similar price as your regional retailer. So it might be best to pre-order via a retailer in your region rather than importing directly.

If you prefer to stick with the video game entries, the entire series from Fallout 3 is available to subscribers of Xbox Game Pass.
