A selection of free items are currently available for players of Fallout 76.

There's four different items available for Fallout 76 players, found in two different places:

  • Astro Attack Pinball Machine (found in the Floor Decor tab in the Workshop menu)
  • Laundered Denim Dress (found at an armour crafting bench)
  • Clean Grey Suit (found at armour crafting benches)
  • Bowling Arcade Machine (found in the Floor Decor tab in the Workshop menu)

In order to claim the items, all you need to do is go to this website. However, if you already have a Bethesda account but don't have email communications opted into, then you have to opt into the service through your account, or else you can't get the items. You also need to have a Bethesda.net account in order to actually get the items.

In 2025, Fallout 76 players will be able to play as a Ghoul.

This selection of free items comes as Fallout 76 sees a huge increase in its player count. The title went from a player count of 17 million players in December of last year, to a player count of over 20 million, primarily due to the sheer popularity of the Amazon Prime show based on the property. Indeed, Fallout 76 isn't the only game in the series that saw an increase in player count, with Bethesda's Todd Howard talking to Variety about the increase: "Depending on the Fallout game, you're looking at a four to six times increase in daily players, which is beyond anything I've ever seen in my 30 years of doing this. Having an event that brings that many people into games that you have and who have never played your games before, that's a big thing. New players who have never played a game or never played one of our games. It's a really, really unique moment."
