Although Bethesda’s Fallout Day was a success for some, it was disappointing for others with the event seemingly focused on one entry more than anything else.

Yesterday saw Bethesda come together to present a 40-minute showcase talking about its future plans for the Fallout series.

Check out one of many future updates for Fallout 76 below!

With Fallout getting something of a resurgence over the past year thanks to the success of its television adaptation back in April, it is no wonder that fans flocked to the event in the hopes of seeing exciting new content for the series.

However, many were left feeling disappointed after the show seemingly only focused on the online-only Fallout 76.

This isn't all that surprising considering Bethesda did say that this was the plan ahead of the showcase.

Nevertheless, fans were left feeling heartbroken that there wasn’t much news about Fallout 4 or even Fallout 5 which is reportedly in development.

With the future looking bright for Fallout 76, the same can’t be said for the other franchise titles, and fans took to the comment section of the livestream to express their frustration.

“They hyped it up for five days and then gave us 20 minutes of 76 lmao,” the top comment read as well as sporting almost 700 likes in support.

Another read: “Jesus Christ, it's starting to really set in that I'll be middle-aged before I see another single-player Fallout.”

With Fallout 4 celebrating its 10-year anniversary next year and Fallout 5 being nowhere in sight, this person may not be wrong.

“Might as well have called it Fallout 76 Day, at least that way no one would get their hopes up,” another disgruntled fan chimed in.

With viewers going in with “zero expectations” and “still being disappointed”, it would be easy to think that the showcase was a flop.

However, with Fallout 76 boasting quite an impressive upcoming docket, as well as offering freebies for fans, not everyone was left feeling underwhelmed.
