Fallout 5 fans are roasting a potential release date for the upcoming post-apocalyptic RPG, and we get it.
To be fair to Fallout 5 and its publisher Bethesda Softworks, the highly anticipated game hasn't been officially announced. Sure, Bethesda chief Todd Howard has acknowledged that it will be released one day, but that’s about it.
All we know for sure, other than it will be released one day, is that it will most likely arrive after The Elder Scrolls VI, which presents an additional problem in itself.

We all know that The Elder Scrolls VI was announced at E3 2018, but other than that initial trailer, which featured nothing other than a view over Tamriel and a logo, the fantasy RPG has no release date, gameplay shown or confirmed platforms.
In that respect, it’s safe to assume that The Elder Scrolls VI could be at least a couple of years away, if we’re lucky. So that could mean that Fallout 5 might be at least a further two years after that, likely more. Which, in turn, means that we could be pushing close to 2029 and beyond.
“God, I hope my grandson likes Fallout 5,” joked falloutlegos, reacting to Todd Howard's confession that he doesn't feel the game needs to be rushed.
“I feel like there's a difference between rushing and waiting 10+ years before anything even goes into production,” replied LichQueenBarbie.

“Oh boy, I can’t wait to play Fallout 5 three console generations from now,” said a sarcastic Grand-Reception-4700.
“I don't even mind 10+ years as long as the final product is worth it,” replied a sensible LeobenCharlie.
We’ll keep you posted when we hear of any further developments on Fallout 5. In the meantime, hopefully, the likes of Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 should help keep us busy.
