We’re just a couple of days away from this year’s Xbox Showcase.
Let’s be honest though, Fallout fans are going to be left disappointed; if the franchise does surface, I’m imagining it’s only going to be in relation to Fallout 76.
There’s no way that Fallout 5 is being mentioned. It’s far too early.

Heck, I’d even be surprised if The Elder Scrolls VI received a re-reveal and it’s obvious that that project is next in line for Bethesda.
Of course, that’s no disrespect to Fallout 76 even if it may come across as such.
It’s just that so many of us are craving some new single-player action.
We’ll have to settle for revisiting our beloved Fallout 4; thankfully, it’s packed with secrets which means that revisiting it always proves fruitful.

You can actually visit one secret vault that devs never intended for us to see.
Originally, there was set to be an in-game quest that would take place after ‘Here There Be Monsters’ in which players would visit an underwater vault, Vault 120 to be exact.
Known as ‘20 Leagues Under The Sea’, the quest would’ve seen you fend off a huge sea monster.
It’s not known why devs deleted the quest and unfortunately, it’s never officially been reinstated.

Unofficially though, you can play through ‘20 Leagues Under The Sea’ courtesy of modders.
‘20 Leagues Under The Sea - Vault 120’ has been put together by NexusMods user MinitelRouge and is based on all of the information we know about the cut quest.
“Deep under the Atlantic Ocean lies Vault 120, a sprawling complex built centuries ago to avoid the madness of men up on the surface,” the synopsis reads.
“There, apart from some irradiated inhabitants and creatures, you will find many spaces to create a community protected from the dangers of the world.”

The vault features two workshop benches and two settlements and can be accessed by heading north east of Nordhagen Beach.
The best part is that this mod is not PC only as the creator has authorised for it to be uploaded to the Creation Club meaning it could be accessible to Xbox users too.
To everyone else, sorry. You’ll just have to watch on, full of forlorn.
