Fallout 4 player baffled my mysterious UFO we've never seen before

The truth is out there

Fallout’s post-apocalyptic wasteland is weird, wonderful and wretched, yet, we still love it and this is probably why we won't be totally surprised by UFO sightings in the Bethesda series.

Released in 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Fallout 4 is one of the most popular entries in Bethesda’s RPG series and this year, it benefited from a free new-gen update. So with nearly a decade already in the bag and a new wave of fans brought in by the Amazon life-action series, there are plenty of new stories to be told from budding vault dwellers.

Check out the Fallout 4 trailer below!

“As the sole survivor of Vault 111, you enter a world destroyed by nuclear war. Every second is a fight for survival, and every choice is yours. Only you can rebuild and determine the fate of the Wasteland. Welcome home,” reads the synopsis of Fallout 4.

One Fallout 4 player has shared a very mysterious UFO sighting on Reddit which many of us have probably never seen before first-hand. “I've done multiple playthroughs and never seen this before,” said zonnipher117 to fellow members on the thread accompanied by an image of a UFO abducting an animal.

“I've seen the classic early game UFO crash and all the references across the wasteland and DLC areas but I managed to miss this every single playthrough,” they continued. “I won't spoil the event but it was quest-related.”

However, as quickly pointed out by other Reddit members, this UFO is a result of the Creation Club mod content. “I don’t know how people don’t realise when something on Fallout 4 is from the Creation Club,” ranted alecpiper.

They continued: “I get it with Skyrim Anniversary Edition because you can download all the creation club add-ons without necessarily looking at each one, but with Fallout 4, you have to specifically purchase and download an alien-themed add-on, and then get confused by a new alien encounter.”

Fallout 4 is out now and is included in Xbox Game Pass at no extra cost, and unlike most console games, the PlayStation and Xbox version supports mods.
