There’s a disturbing character in Fallout 3 and you’ll likely have bumped into him if you explored Vault 108.

His name is Gary and there are many versions of Gary as he was cloned many times, with each variant getting more and more unhinged and violent.

Fallout 76 continues to be popular with players as it enters its 18th season

He was a fan favourite appearance due to his instability and the vault being a memorable moment but it was also a very creepy section of the game because you never knew how Gary would react.

Well, it turns out that Gary’s legacy continued into Fallout 4 and there’s a hidden location where you’ll find a little dedication to Gary and his legion of clones.

According to a Reddit thread on Fallout 4 secret locations, one of the locations reads, “In Wicked Shipping Fleet Lockup next to the truck that is locked is another truck. Inside it at the end are wooden blocks that spell Gary, this is a nod to Vault 108 from Fallout 3.”

When you read through the thread, you’ll find that it’s not the only mention of the legendary Gary.

“The Gary blocks are everywhere, makes me so happy,” says temporalscavenger.

This is backed up by another Redditor, Epiks1, who said, “GARY blocks are everywhere, Got a mate with about 15 different pictures on his PS4.”

Gary is well known throughout the Fallout community and many would love to have more Gary lore or appearances.

User temporalscavenger jumped back into the conversation saying, “I wish a Gary had made it into Fo4. It would have been hilarious to be wandering an abandoned building and hear "Hah! Gary!" from right behind you!”

Bethesda is well-known for its secrets and callbacks, so perhaps we’ll see much more of Gary and his history of cloning in Vault 108 when Fallout 5 finally emerges.
