Elden Ring lore aficionados will soon be able to enjoy a massive new book exploring the world, events, and characters of the series.
Elden Ring has proven itself to be one of the biggest games of the last few years, and there’s no denying that there’s a load of fans who are absolutely obsessed with its lore.
It’s the kind of game you could play five or ten times over, and still miss certain facts. Not only is it absolutely massive, but a lot of details regarding certain characters or events are often hidden away.
It’s also quite difficult to connect certain things unless you map out every note, item description, or detail you find, which is how FromSoftware lore experts like VaatiVidya are able to make content that is easy to understand and engaging.

Speaking of which, this new release from VaatiVidya is also worth checking out. The FromSoftware lorekeeper has made a living uploading YouTube videos on the developer’s games for over a decade, and has recently made a transition into books too.

He’s now taking his expertise along into a new book release, Lore Bound: Elden Ring Explained. The book is intended to be a published transcription of over 20 hours’ worth of lore videos the YouTuber has published on Elden Ring.
The book also contains original art and is neatly packaged into a nice hardback cover, which should look lovely on anyone’s shelf.
New Elden Ring book collects all the lore
“So… I'm writing a book! An interpretation of Elden Ring's lore. It's my YouTube channel in physical form, and it's called ‘Lore Bound’,” VaatiVidya writes in a new post on YouTube.
“This book will bind together everything I've learned from Elden Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree, and Nightreign into one single volume.
"My old video scripts will be updated, new illustrations will be commissioned, and every effort will be made to ensure each page is clear and engaging.”
Lore Bound: Elden Ring Explained is expected to release next year, but a concrete date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
It’s available to pre-order now from Tune and Fairweather, and comes in several editions too.
You can pre-order the softcover edition for £32, or grab the more expensive softcover edition with a designer sleeve for an extra £18.
There’s also a Deluxe Edition, that comes as a hardcover with a fancy sleeve, for £72. A bundle featuring both editions is also available, setting you back £110. Quite the purchase.
