Cyberpunk 2077 sequel teaser quietly promises us a much more vibrant world

With the sequel for Cyberpunk 2077 officially in development, fans of the hit RPG are wondering what is next for the CD Projekt Red title.

We all know that the original launch of Cyberpunk 2077 back in 2020 was… eventful to say the least.

Check out the trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty below!

With the game in such a playable state that it was ultimately pulled from online stores, it has managed to redeem itself over the course of four years thanks to the dedication of its development team.

Now thanks to multiple updates, patches and even its Phantom Liberty expansion, Cyberpunk 2077 is widely regarded as one of the best RPGs of all time.

As a result, fans are understandably excited to see what its sequel will be like.

Although we do know that it is currently codenamed Project Orion, we don’t know too much more but according to a recent job listing discovery, there will be some changes.

The job listing reveals that CD Projekt Red is searching for a character artist to work exclusively on Project Orion.

At first, nothing seems out of the ordinary but then one requirement reveals that the candidate must have a "very good understanding of human as well as animal form and anatomy."

I don’t know about you but this could mean that Cyberpunk 2 could feature a lot more animals than its predecessor OR we will see more animalistic body modifications for Night City’s population.

There is no denying that Cyberpunk 2077 did not include very many animals as players were lucky to see a stray cat in the street (which can ultimately be adopted by V and kept in their apartment).

However, it seems the not-too-distant 2077 is not a fan of animals.

At least until now.

The job listing didn’t go into much more detail but it has confirmed once again that development is swiftly underway for the highly-anticipated RPG sequel.
