Cyberpunk 2077: Psycho Squad #1 is just one of many graphic novels inspired by the CD Projekt RED world and is officially available to purchase today.
Written by Dan Watters with art from Kieran McKeown, Giada Marchisio, and Frank Cvetkovic, Cyberpunk 2077: Psycho Squad #1 is the first entry in a four-part series which puts the spotlight on cyberpsychosis.
As we all know, cyberpsychosis is caused when a person has implemented too much cyberware into their body, making their human frame unable to cope with the strain.
This graphic novel follows MaxTac, the special division of the NCPD that specializes in dealing with the cyberpsychos and is a force featured in the Cyberpunk 2077 inspired anime, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
“MaxTac, one of the deadliest and most controversial forces in Night City, is deployed against a corpo netrunner turned cyberpsycho,” the official synopsis reads.
“The squad’s mission: eliminate the target and save lives, but the scene is unlike anything they’ve encountered!
With the building on lockdown, the psycho has the facilities and its occupants wired for destruction!”
The collaboration between CD Projekt RED and Dark Horse Comics is out right now with Cyberpunk 2077: Psycho Squad #1 available at all major book stores at a mere $3.99.
This is by no means Dark Horse Comics’ first Cyberpunk 2077 graphic novel with the site offering 31 other entries to get stuck into.
