CD Projekt RED and Virtuos Games are currently live with the latest REDstream and the collaborative pair has already announced some exciting new additions arriving to Cyberpunk 2077.
Today marks a brand-new REDstream and that means that we have officially received news on the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 Update
Not only that but it has been revealed that the highly-anticipated update will drop tomorrow for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S and will arrive on the Nintendo Switch 2 at a later date.
The stream, which is currently airing on both Youtube and Twitch, kicked off with a look at all of the new features we can expect in Update 2.3.

This includes the introduction of autodrive and a Delamain taxi service, new vehicles and quests to unlock them, additional CrystalCoat customisation options, extra TwinTone paint jobs, expanded photo-mode options, quality-of-life improvements, improved HDR settings, AMD FSR 4, AMD FSR 3.1 frame generation, Intel XESS 2.0 with XESS frame generation, Intel HDR10+ gaming support, VRR on consoles and more.
And breathe.
As expected, it seems as though Update 2.3 for Cyberpunk 2077 will focus on vehicles but the addition of brand-new related quests is definitely a bonus.
Not only that but it will make collecting vehicles all the more exciting if some can only be earned from completing these new quests.

One example is that one car can only be earned by completing both River and Claire’s side quests throughout Cyberpunk 2077 whilst another can be earned by making three separate purchases through the Auto Fixer.
More information surrounding these new quests can be found in the patch notes which will be released once the REDstream has ended but we do know that working towards these new vehicles will not alter achievements or 100% completion.
“Each vehicle has a history and there is a reason it is in the game,” associate game director Paweł Sasko assured fans.
Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 will also feature autodrive which can be activated in any vehicle and will take you to any location that you mark on the map and so this will be the perfect way to experience Night City without having to deal with potential crashes.

Autodrive comes with a brand-new icon on the lower left hand side of the screen and can be toggled on and off as soon as you get into a vehicle. However, you will need to be on a road and not in a barren wasteland for example.
Perhaps most excitingly, there is a “wandering” mode which will see your vehicle drive without a location and instead give you the opportunity to use the new cinematic camera, pop on the radio and cruise across the map with no destination in mind.
As mentioned, Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 launches tomorrow and is just another excuse to return to Night City and get exploring.
