Cyberpunk 2077 is in an amazing position right now, and Phantom Liberty, the upcoming paid expansion, is very much the game's victory lap. Among other things, this massive update will bring in a complete graphical overhaul and a ton of new gameplay features. Oh, and a good portion of the changes inPhantom Liberty will actually be available for everyone for free as part of the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update.

Take a look at Phantom Liberty below!

If you're keen to dive into Cyberpunk 2077 and see what all the fuss is about before Phantom Liberty, there couldn't be a better time. I promise you this is not the game it was back in 2020, so if you're still scared about investing your time and money into a game that had an undeniably dodgy launch... how about just investing your time? Five hours, to be precise.

PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers can currently enjoy the first five hours of the sci-fi RPG at no extra cost. While that barely scratches the surface of everything Night City has to offer, it'll definitely be enough to get you through the game's prologue, have a play around with the character creator, and get a feel for the open world. Heck, if you've not been pulled in to Cyberpunk 2077 in the first few hours you can probably accept it's just not for you, even with all the changes coming in Phantom Liberty.

Phantom Liberty will be available on 26 September, and we'll be sure to keep you updated on all the major changes, secrets, and surprises you can expect from the update.
