Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Daredevil: Born Again star Charlie Cox is more than down to work on another game, and now has a couple of ideas.
Starring in his first ever video game, Cox played Gustave in last year’s Game of the Year winner Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, though he only recently got round to playing it himself.
While not classifying himself as a gamer, Cox has told various media outlets about his experience with video games in the past, though he never thought he’d one day star in one.
During last Friday’s BAFTA Games Awards, Charlie Cox was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Expedition 33, though he unfortunately didn’t win.

That said, the Marvel star clearly had a lovely time, and spoke to GAMINGbible about his work on the game, the time that’s passed since, and where he’d like to go next in the industry.
As always, Cox praised Maxence Cazorla, the mocap artist who helped bring Gustave, Verso and Renoir to life, in addition to providing the voice of Esquie.
“My job was made incredibly easy because of the amazing work that he did. So I'm really here because of him,” said Cox.
On the topic of new games for the actor to star in, there are plenty of options. Another game by Sandfall Entertainment could be on the cards, and almost every MCU fan wants to see Daredevil get the Marvel’s Spider-Man treatment.
GAMINGbible had a different suggestion though, and when pitched with the idea of a Stardust RPG, Cox replied, “Oh wicked man! I'll do that. I'm probably a bit too old for it now, but I can still probably voice it. Could I do my 20 year-old voice? Yeah that's a lovely idea.”
For the uncultured, Stardust is a 2007 film Charlie Cox starred in alongside Sienna Miller, Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert De Niro, and even Henry Cavill.

We’re thinking it could be another structured RPG like Expedition 33 and we’re confident it’d be a Game of the Year contender…
On a more serious note, a Daredevil game is still something Cox is eager to star in should one ever get made.
Marvel’s The Wolverine is the next game to come from Insomniac Studios and it launches later this year on the PlayStation 5. Assuming it’ll be a success, there’s every chance Daredevil is the next Marvel hero to get the video game treatment.
That said, Insomniac looks like a very busy studio at the moment, as aside from The Wolverine, it’s also said to be developing a Venom spin-off, as well as Marvel’s Spider-Man 3.
While speaking to GAMINGbible, Charlie Cox also spoke about his time filming Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, including that emotional reunion with Elden Henson to film the recent episode’s flashback sequences.
