No matter your tastes, the world seems to be united in agreeing that Jurassic Park is an epic movie. You can watch this 1993 gem today and still be blown away by its incredible effects. It’s no surprise then that the film went on to spawn a successful franchise, even if later entries have been slightly more divisive.

Whether you love or hate the Jurassic World trilogy, you can’t downplay its success. Almost 30 years after Jurassic Park was released, audiences will still flock to watch a bunch of dinos. Jurassic World Dominion plans to bring the franchise to a close and lead actor Chris Pratt had some pretty big claims to make ahead of the film’s release next month.

Check out Jurassic World Dominion's latest trailer below, which offers a first glimpse at the series' new big bad, the giganotosaurus.

Owen Grady actor Pratt recently spoke to ComicBook.com about the franchise’s upcoming conclusion, comparing the feat to Avengers: Endgame. He said, “There aren’t a ton of [comparisons] for this kind of a thing. I think maybe Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame is a similar comp because you’ve got whatever that was … 10 years, 20-something films. All of these characters each had their own stories, their own trilogies coming together. And you’re like, ‘This is wild.’”

He went on to add, “You’ve seen these worlds collide. It feels the same way. You’ve got the Jurassic Park trilogy. You’ve got the Jurassic World trilogy and it’s this big epic conclusion.”

Jurassic World Dominion is marketing itself as drawing the series to a close. After all, I’m not sure what else dinosaurs could possibly do but Pratt did allude to the series future saying, “You’d want to leave it open to that possibility [of returning].” Personally, I just want to see some cool dinos run around for another two hours. Isn’t that what we’re all here for?
